#3 Goal: Internship and Diploma!

Ninth-grade students go through crucial stages in their educational journey.

The internship, which is essential for all ninth-grade students, often represents a challenge in finding an opportunity. However, this experience can significantly influence students' trajectories by offering them the
opportunity to envision a career or a specific sector. Moreover, it constitutes an essential opportunity to reflect on future studies, thus contributing to informed decision-making. Our goal is to offer internship opportunities with our partner companies to
as many students as possible, allowing them to explore a diversified range of sectors and paths. We also aim to expand coaching sessions provided by employees of our partner companies, guiding young people in writing resumes and cover letters, helping them
highlight their strengths during interviews.

Ninth-grade students also have the goal of passing their diploma at the end of the year, which is often a source of stress and apprehension. Oral proficiency is an essential asset for success in diploma exams. Therefore,
employees of Défi Jeunesse partner companies are actively involved in specific oral coaching sessions for the diploma, aiming to prepare students optimally for this important exam.

We need your support to ensure that a large number of ninth-grade students are supported in these challenges.

👉 OBJECTIF : préparer 50 classes supplémentaires, soit 1 250 élèves à l'oral du brevet et faciliter le passage de ces élèves au lycée

Every middle school student should have the freedom to choose their career path based on their aspirations and abilities. School dropout often results from imposed career choices, whether by the school environment or due to lack of knowledge.

To discover their path, self-awareness is essential. It is crucial to create an environment conducive to students' reflection on their future. Starting from the 6th grade, in collaboration with associations, we encourage
young people to think about their passions and understand where they excel. Awareness of their strengths and weaknesses to build a project begins at a young age.

By facilitating the connection between the professional world and the business world, young people also have the opportunity to project themselves into structured study projects, allowing them to make informed career
choices.

By supporting the "Défi Jeunesse" project, you contribute to creating an ecosystem conducive to informed orientation, thus allowing young people to dare to take their rightful place in society.
